Software Engineer
Zope Corporation is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Software Engineer to deliver cutting-edge Zope solutions for external and internal customers.Requirements
- Strong background in Python or JavaScript and Web application development
- Bachelor's degree in CS and/or equivalent industry experience
- Proven ability to design and deliver custom solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Good problem solving and documentation skills
Experience building production applications with Zope and/or CMF would be good to have as well.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of problem domains and customer requirements
- Deliver robust software components and solutions
- Contribute to project documentation, transition materials and training

The centralized model of Web serving has shifted towards more
efficient infrastructure technologies that leverage the
Internet's edge for distributed computing. The development of ESI
is one such technology that is impacting the way enterprise
applications are written and deployed. We are excited by the work
of Zope Corporation to develop ESI in Squid. This will
dramatically help in the creation of dynamic, open source
applications, while also allowing enterprises to extend the reach
of their applications across the Akamai platform. We look forward
to this being one of many third party implementations of ESI.
