Waiver of Maintenance

By accepting the terms presented herein, (COMPANY) as represented by (AUTHORIZED COMPANY SIGNER) the purchaser, acknowledge that he/she is authorized to act on behalf of his/her company, and as such, has elected to decline annual maintenance associated with the purchase of software license. COMPANY fully understand therefore that COMPANY is not entitled to the following benefits afforded to those who have paid for maintenance:

Bug Fixes

I understand that only organizations with current maintenance have access to the updated software source code, which is the only mechanism for delivering bug fixes.

Free version upgrades and minor updates

I understand that only organizations with current maintenance have access to software updates and maintenance releases to keep their application up-to-date.

I am further aware that if I:

1. Decline Maintenance from the date of original purchase and/or,
2. Allow the lapse of Maintenance on any Product License, then any requests for future upgrades will first require
   1. payment of fifty per cent of the then current license fee plus
   2. maintenance renewal for the coming term.

I am the lead intranet developer for Bell Atlantic Mobile, the United States' second largest wireless communications company. We use Zope and its components to provide access to HR data on our intranet and to facilitate other applications. Zope allows for better organization of code, and allows us to focus on coding first. With Zope, apps are developed and debugged quicker and easier, and they run faster than straight CGI. Python and Zope are intelligently designed and solidly built.
